Money invested in vehicles that work every day
Two programs, and the difference between them is the security. In the “Car Buyout Fund”, your money is backed by a loan agreement with a surety (personal guarantee); in “Vans and passenger cars”, by a specific vehicle from our fleet.

Terms — at a meeting
Two programs, four investment options
The rate depends on the amount, and the security depends on the program.

How it is secured
The rate and term are the conditions. Security is what remains if something goes wrong.
Car Buyout Fund
- Loan agreement backed by a surety (personal guarantee)
- Receipt for the funds transferred
- No collateral — the security is a surety, not property
Vans and passenger cars
- The vehicle is put in the investor’s name — or a vehicle from the KTrans fleet is pledged as collateral
- Loan agreement
- Lease agreement
How it works
The steps are the same in both programs. The difference is at the third step.

Questions
We do not raise money for an idea.
- What exactly am I buying?
- This is not a share in an investment fund. In the “Car Buyout Fund”, you lend money to KTrans under an agreement, and the security is a surety and a receipt. In “Vans and passenger cars”, you are backed by a specific vehicle — put in your name or pledged to you from our fleet.
- How much do I need to invest, and what does it earn?
- The investment amount and return are discussed at a personal meeting: they depend on the program, amount and term and are set in the agreement before the first payment.
- For what term?
- Car Buyout Fund — from 6 months: up to one year or up to two years. Vans and passenger cars — 2 years. The term can be extended, but on the terms in effect at the time of the extension, not those in effect at the start.
- Is there collateral?
- In the Car Buyout Fund — no: funds are transferred under a loan agreement backed by a surety (personal guarantee) and against a receipt. In vans and passenger cars — yes: the vehicle is put in the investor’s name, or a vehicle from the KTrans fleet is pledged as collateral.
- What do I sign?
- Car Buyout Fund — a loan agreement backed by a surety (personal guarantee); funds are transferred against a receipt. Vans and passenger cars — a loan agreement and a lease agreement for the same vehicle.
- Who pays for repairs and insurance?
- We do. We arrange maintenance, repairs and insurance, as well as finding renters and day-to-day management.
- What happens at the end of the term?
- The invested amount is returned, or the agreement is extended on the terms in effect at that time. In the vehicle program, you can keep the vehicle — this choice is set in advance, not discussed in the last month.
- What if the car gets damaged in an accident?
- We arrange repairs and insurance — that is our part of the work. What exactly the insurance covers is set in the agreement before signing.
- Why not just put this money in a bank deposit?
- These are different things with different risks. A deposit is protected by the state; here you are backed by an agreement with a surety or a specific vehicle with documents that you can see. We do not raise money for an idea.
